Now this is cool. We've heard about it, even seen some pictures, but never before had we actually seen one in action. The question now becomes, where can we find one of these?
Check out this video of a guy who wanted to beat Guitar Hero so bad that he created what we would consider a mess. If your a big enough geek and have the spare parts and time, this might be a project for you. But I'm willing to guess that learning to play the song with the controller might be a hair easier, although the call is yours.
David Randolph from Systm, shows you how to use the Hollywood "Show Controller" to rig a Guitar Hero Controller, to play the song for you. This episode of Systm is entertaining and a lot of thought went into this. Ultimate Guitar Hero Geeks, will love this one.
On the 5th February, Activision applied for the trademark of “DJ Hero”, which could mean that a new game with a totally new controller is on it's way. The trademark reads as follows:
computer game software and related instruction manual sold together as a unit; interactive video game programs; computer game discs; downloadable software for use in connection with computer games; video game controllers; interactive video game comprised of a CD or DVD sold as a unit with a video game controller
No this isn't a site about Regan Reese doing a little bit more "Guitar Hero". There is a flash game that's been created that actually kinda of fun to play. The best part is that it's free and it isn't going to cost you an arm and a leg. Plus there is no guitar besides your keyboard, so no extra equipment to drag around either. Have yourself some "Flash Hero" fun.
